Job summary

MedLink Georgia is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) to join our Revenue Cycle team. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures to support reimbursement and compliance with federal regulations.

The CCS will review electronic medical records, verify documentation, and assist with AR follow-up, contributing to high-quality patient care and financial stewardship at MedLink Georgia.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid & insurance billing procedures.
• Experience in medical chart audits/reviews.
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS coding systems.

Responsibilities

• Review electronic medical records for accuracy of diagnoses and services.
• Conduct prospective and retrospective chart reviews to confirm code accuracy.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable follow-up on outstanding claims.
• Ensure documentation supports diagnoses, treatments, and signatures.
