Job summary

MedLink Georgia is seeking a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) to join our Revenue Cycle team in Colbert, GA. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS systems to support proper reimbursement and regulatory compliance.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, experience with medical record reviews, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. We offer competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• AHIMA CCS-P or AAPC CPC certification is required.
• 12 months coding/chart review or related experience; E/M and in-office procedure coding with ICD-10 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medical records for completeness and accuracy of diagnoses and services.
• Perform prospective and retrospective chart reviews to confirm code accuracy with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable follow-up on outstanding claims.
• Ensure documentation supports diagnoses and procedures and that signatures and patient identification are present.
