Job summary

Jobrapido is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience for a 100% remote, contract role.

The eight‑week assignment is 35 hours per week, with one weekend day required. Pay is $35/hour on W-2. Candidates should have 3–5 years outpatient/ED coding, ICD-10/ICD-9-CM, CPT-4, and AHIMA RHIT/CCS/CCP credentials.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of HDS Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
• CCS CCP AHIMA RHIT certification.
