Job summary

Yeo & Yeo Medical Billing & Consulting seeks a Medical Coder to review records, assign ICD-10 and CPT codes, and support billing staff. The coder will ensure compliance with coding guidelines and communicate with clients to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include staying current on coding rules, educating providers, and maintaining accuracy across multiple specialties. Excellent communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• APCP Certified Professional Coder (CPC) preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding and payer requirements.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign CPT and ICD-10 codes for various specialties.
• Serve as coding contact for Billing staff and educate clients on coding guidelines.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding and documentation requirements.
• Assist staff with coding questions and some medical billing duties.
