The ideal candidate holds CPC certification, strong knowledge of payer rules, and excellent communication skills to support clients and staff while staying current with coding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, Business Administration or equivalent is required.
• CPC certification preferred.
• Ability to code conditions and procedures using ICD-10-CM and CPT.
• Knowledge of payer requirements (Medicare/Medicaid).
• Excellent communication with payers and patients.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and assign accurate ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Serve as coding contact for Billing Staff.
• Educate client providers on documentation and coding guidelines.
• Respond to coding questions and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with some medical billing duties.
