Job summary

Middlesex Health ENT and Facial Plastic Surgery in Connecticut seeks a Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CPC-A) to review medical records, ensure accurate coding, and optimize professional billing for ENT services. Positions available as full-time or part-time across New Haven, Middletown, Cheshire, and Guilford.

The ideal candidate holds CPC/CPC-A, a high school diploma or GED, and experience with ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS within Epic-based workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CPC-A) is required.

Responsibilities

• Review electronic medical records for coding and billing accuracy.
• Code diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS.
• Verify documentation supports diagnosis and treatment for billing purposes.
• Attend PB meetings to discuss Epic billing issues.
• Monitor work queues and denials to ensure accurate codes and charges.
