Sanatio Health Inc, based in Oxford, AL, is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Biller/Coder to join our healthcare team on site in Oxford. The role focuses on accurate coding, clean claims submission, and proactive denial management to support timely patient care and revenue cycle efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds CPC/CCS/CCS-P or equivalent certification with at least two years of medical billing experience, strong ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS knowledge, and solid experience with EHR systems

Qualifications

• Active CPC/CCS/CCS-P or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience.
• Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with EHR and medical billing software.

Responsabilités

• Assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to patient records.
• Prepare and submit clean claims to insurance carriers, Medicare, and Medicaid.
• Review denials, rejections, and appeals in a timely manner.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and payer-specific billing guidelines.
• Conduct charge entry, payment posting, and AR follow-up.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.
