Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of medical billing and coding experience.
• Proficient with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Experience with EHR and medical billing software.
• Strong HIPAA compliance and denial management knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assign ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to patient records.
• Prepare and submit clean claims to insurers including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Review denials and appeals and resolve them promptly.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits before billing.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and follow payer guidelines.
• Conduct charge entry, payment posting, and AR follow-up.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to resolve coding discrepancies.
