Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support RN staff in a busy outpatient wound care center. You will collect vitals, prepare patients, document care and assist with basic wound care procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are essential. A CMA certification and a CMA-approved program are required, with some prior acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a CMA-program approved by CAAHEP/ABHES.
• Current CMA certification maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN/LPN with intake/discharge; collect vitals and wound measurements.
• Document care and patient responses; assist with wound care and Hyperbaric duties as trained.
• Handle clerical tasks: phones, scheduling, insurance verification, and charting.
• Support front office with data entry and patient flow; maintain supplies.
• Perform basic lab tasks and prepare specimens as needed.
