Job summary

Duke Urgent Care Croasdaile in Durham, NC is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. You will support clinical and administrative tasks in a busy urgent care setting, taking histories, measuring vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting providers. Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Level I: high school diploma or GED; CMA cert strongly preferred.
• Level II/III: CMA cert; BLS required; CAAHEP/ABHES preferred.
• Level II: 1 year clinical MA experience; Level III: 3 years clinical MA experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and schedule appointments; verify demographics and insurance.
• Collect histories, measure vitals, prepare patients for exams.
• Assist clinicians with procedures; dispense medications per doctor instructions.
