Job summary

Duke Urgent Care Croasdaile, part of Duke University, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for on-site work in Durham, NC. Qualifications

• Formal CMA certification required for Levels II/III; Level I preferred.
• BLS certification required across levels.

Responsibilities

• Collect medical histories and monitor vital signs.
• Explain treatments and prepare patients for exams and procedures.
• Assist staff, prepare lab samples, perform basic lab tests and EKGs.
• Dispense prescribed medications as instructed by doctor and manage refills.
