Job summary

Heritage Health in Rathdrum, Idaho, is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time position to join our clinical team and deliver patient-centered care. You will support providers across rooms, handle vital signs, immunizations, and lab results, and help ensure efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant work experience and certification as a Registered Medical Assistant.
• Certification from a nationally recognized organization (AAMA, NHA, NCCT or AMT) or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BLS or ACLS certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake including vital signs, history and immunization records.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures (minor surgery, physicals, female exams, etc.).
• Manage documentation, lab results, and follow-up communications.
• Support providers with supplies ordering and charting.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and organized workflows.
• Ensure timely communication of test results and patient follow-ups.
