Job summary

Heritage Health - Idaho is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our Coeur d'Alene, Idaho team in a full-time capacity. You will support providers with patient intake, vitals, exam preparation, and documentation in EHRs within a community health setting.

Qualifications include a nationally accredited MA program, CMA certification or eligibility within 6 months, BLS/ACLS or completion within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant work experience with CMA certification.
• Certification from a recognized MA organization (AAMA, NHA, NCCT or AMT) or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• BLS or ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, vitals, and procedure prep in a clinic setting.
• Support providers with rooming, charting, and documentation in EHR.
• Perform basic lab tasks, specimen handling, and immunizations under supervision.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and restock supplies regularly.
• Coordinate patient communication for test results and follow-up care.
• Adhere to HIPAA, privacy, and safety protocols at all times.
