Job summary

Heritage Health - Idaho seeks a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. You will support providers, manage essential duties, and contribute to patient-centered care in a community health setting.

We offer a $3,000 sign-on bonus for new team members, 100% employer-paid health coverage, generous PTO, retirement plan, and supportive growth opportunities. Completion of a certified MA program is required, with certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience with certification.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant within 6 months.
• BLS or ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supply ordering and tracking and manage MA productivity tasks.
• Room patients timely, take vital signs, collect histories, immunization data and PHQs.
• Prepare exam rooms for procedures and assist with minor surgeries and exams.
• Complete in-office standing orders including A1C, immunizations, retinal tests and screenings.
• Document results and communicate with providers; ensure prompt follow-up and chart accuracy.
• Maintain clean exam rooms, restock supplies, and support other departments as needed.
