Harbor Health in Austin, TX seeks a skilled Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Rheumatology team. You will support clinical operations, administer immunizations, collect specimens, and document accurately in the EHR while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required or eligible to renew/apply.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in primary care or similar clinical setting.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient in entering information in EHR systems and generating reports.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; able to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Professional teamwork and confidentiality in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clinical team to execute tasks ordered by providers.
• Deliver care per each member's individualized plan.
• Perform intake, collect lab specimens, and administer immunizations.
• Accurately chart in the EHR system.
• Assist with minor procedures and other clinical support duties.
• Complete opening and closing tasks to prepare for daily operations.
• Support care team to ensure member needs are met and hand-offs are smooth.
