Job summary

Harbor Health seeks Certified Medical Assistants to join our growing Dallas-area clinic group. As a CMA, you will support clinical operations and help deliver compassionate, member-centered care within our payvider model.

The role requires a CMA, 3+ years of primary care experience, CPR certification, and strong patient service skills. You will perform intake, lab collection, immunizations, and chart in EMR while collaborating with providers and care teams.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or ability to renew/apply for certification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in primary care or similar clinical environment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Proficient with EHR systems and data reporting.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the clinical team to execute care tasks as ordered by providers
• Deliver care in accordance with each member's individualized care plan
• Perform client intake, collect lab specimens, and administer immunizations
• Chart accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Assist with minor procedures and other supportive functions for the clinical team
• Complete opening and closing tasks each day to prepare for daily clinic operations
• Support the care team to ensure members' needs are met and hand-offs are appropriately conducted
