Job summary

SRMH Medical Group in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant – Resource Pool for full-time hours. Start times vary between 7 AM and 8 AM with mileage reimbursement provided.

A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, and the role supports about 10 primary care clinics with a float schedule planned a month ahead. The CMA performs patient care and clerical tasks under supervision of physicians, NP/PA, RN or LPN.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Less than a year of related experience required.
• Must have one of the following certifications on day one: CMA, RMA, CCMA, Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, EMT-B.
• BLS within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care and administrative/clerical tasks as directed by the physician, NP/PA, RN, or LPN.
• Support approximately 10 Primary Care clinics with float coverage.
• Adhere to training, education, and competency evaluations.
