Sentara Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for SMG Family Medicine Williamsburg in Williamsburg, VA. The role supports patient care and administrative duties, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 40 hours weekly, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have one of the following on day one: CMA, RMA, CCMA, EMT-B.
• BLS within 90 days of hire date.
• Less than a year of related experience required.
• Phlebotomy experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks as delegated by the physician, NP/PA, RN or LPN.
• Provides back-office and front-office support under supervision as part of a care team.
• Contributes to a positive patient experience and efficient workflow.
