Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Medical Assistant II, Certified to provide patient-centered care, document vitals, assist with Esketamine and TMS procedures, and support physicians and staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.

This on-site role offers a 40-hour work week, standard hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a $7,500 commitment incentive and free parking. Prior authorization support and quality improvement involvement are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program is preferred but not required.
• Professional MA certification by AAMA/AMT/CCMA/NCMA is required.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and document vitals.
• Assist with TMS and Esketamine procedures and documentation.
• Handle lab collections and injections.
• Support with scheduling, referrals, and communications.
