Baylor Scott & White Health in Rowlett, TX seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in primary care. You will perform patient exams, update records, administer injections, and record vitals, delivering accurate, patient-focused care.

Responsibilities include preparing rooms, collecting specimens, assisting with ECGs, vaccinations, and processing documentation per privacy standards. New grads with CMA certification are welcome.

Competenze

• EDUCATION - H.S. Diploma or GED Equivalent
• EXPERIENCE - New grads are welcome to apply (must have completed certification)
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - BLS within 30 days of hire; CMA certification from NCMA/AAMA/ARMA/AMT/NAHP/AMCA

Mansioni

• Assist with patient examinations and treatment under physician guidance.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms before and after procedures, maintain cleanliness and stocked supplies.
• Guide patients from waiting room and help them get ready for examination.
• Interview patients and update medical records; collect detailed medical information.
• Record vital signs and prepare patients for exams, tests, and x-rays.
• Perform ECGs and collect blood and urine samples for processing.
• Administer routine medications and vaccinations; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Change dressings and remove sutures/staples when requested.
