Job summary

The role requires CMA certification and BLS, with under-one-year experience preferred. You’ll work in a patient-focused environment at a major nonprofit Texas health system, with duties spanning charting, room prep, patient flow, and routine testing.

Qualifications

• Education: H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification/Registration: BLS or CMA/CMA variants listed; CMA from AAMA/ARMA or NCCT/NAHP/others required.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare professionals and patients under physician guidance.
• Update medical records and document patient information.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed; administer injections.
• Record vital signs and maintain accurate, detailed documentation.
• Prepare treatment rooms, ensure cleanliness and supply readiness.
• Guide patients from waiting room and assist with examinations.
