Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Premier Primary Care in Livingston, NJ. The CMA will perform routine clinical tasks under supervision, including vital signs, blood draws, injections, and minor procedures, while supporting clerical workflows.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CMA certification, and at least 6 months experience; Epic EMR knowledge is preferred. Full-time, day shift, on-site with potential light travel to nearby practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of CMA-related experience or training.
• EMR experience with Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine clinical tasks: vitals, blood draws, EKGs and injections as directed.
• Handle clerical duties: phones, appointments, insurance verification, billing support.
• Prepare rooms, maintain sterile environment and assist with procedures as needed.
• Document patient information and maintain health records accurately.
