Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support providers across Aldrich Primary Care. The CMA will prepare patients, assist during examinations, perform clinical tasks, and document results in the EMR. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and teamwork in a fast-paced clinic.

The position requires CMA credential, BLS, and at least 6 months CMA experience, with a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and a competitive hourly pay range in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant credential required (CMA).
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 6 months CMA experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Administer injections and collect specimens within scope.
• Document patient information and test results in EMR.
• Coordinate patient flow and educate patients on treatments.
