Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care team at the Franklin Medical Office Building in Franklin, WI. This full-time, day-shift role supports providers with patient interviews, vital signs, exam room prep, and treatment assistance while performing essential clerical duties.

Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and a BLS certification within 30 days of hire; MA credentials from AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
• MA credentials from any recognized credentialing organization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, measure vital signs and record data in charts.
• Assist with treatments ordered by provider under supervision.
• Prepare exam rooms and perform essential clerical duties.
• Document provider encounters and transcribe orders as directed.
