Job summary

Advocate Health's AMG Franklin - Family Medicine clinic in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support patient care in a busy primary care setting. You will perform rooming, vital signs, medication reconciliation, history, screenings, and assist with procedures, labs, POCT, and vaccines while maintaining safety and patient comfort.

Qualifications include a HS diploma, MA program or 2 years MA experience, BLS, and CMA/RMA or other cert; we value teamwork and reliable,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years MA experience in the last 5 years.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 45 days unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Perform rooming tasks and take vital signs in patient visits.
• Assist provider with procedures and manage lab duties like venipuncture and specimen handling.
• Prepare orders, run POCT, and track results per CLIA standards.
• Administer medications and vaccines following the rights of administration.
• Maintain clean, stocked work areas and assist with patient communications and referrals.
