Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient care under supervision in a fast-paced clinical setting in Atlanta, GA. The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program, or at least one year of related clinical experience.

Candidates should hold a BCLS certification and CMA-AAMA or NCMA certification, with GED/HS diploma as a possible alternative.

Qualifications

• Evidence of patient care abilities and compassionate demeanor.
• Formal education in medical assisting or nursing assistance is preferred.
• If no formal degree, 1 year of related clinical experience is required.
• BCLS certification is required or must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of patient care activities under supervision of a physician, APP, or RN.
• Follow established guidelines and standards to ensure quality care.

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
