Job summary

Piedmont is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform a range of patient care activities under supervision by a physician, APP, or RN in line with established guidelines. The role supports high-quality clinical care across Georgia facilities.

The candidate should have either a Medical Assistant program graduate or Nursing Assistant program graduate background, or at least one year of related clinical experience. Certification in CMA-AAMA or NCMA-NCTT and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, one year of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• CMA-AAMA certification or NCMA-NCTT certification required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred and
• Graduate of an accredited an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, one (1) year of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Work Experience

• No experience required Required or

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required and
