Health Care Resource Centers is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments, and collect personal information. The role includes taking vital signs, assisting practitioners, and collecting lab samples in a outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have CPR/BCLS certification, phlebotomy involvement, and experience with patient management software. High school diploma or GED is required plus 1–2 years healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant must be certified or registered.
• Phlebotomy is involved and required.
• CPR/BCLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, schedule appointments and collect information.
• Take vital signs and assist with treatments.
• Prepare treatment rooms and disinfect equipment.
• Assist with patient intakes and lab specimen collection.
• Triaging calls and managing messages
• Maintain medical records and perform secretarial duties
