Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments, collect information, and assist with vital signs and specimen collection in a supportive outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate will have phlebotomy experience, CPR/BCLS certification, and familiarity with state and DEA regulations. 1–2 years of healthcare experience is preferred, with a focus on compassionate, non-judgmental patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant with phlebotomy experience and CPR/BCLS certification.
• Greet patients, schedule appointments and collect patient information.
• Familiar with State and DEA regulations; background check and drug screen required.
• 1–2 years healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules intake appointments, verifies patient information and prepares medical records.
• Check in patients, measure vital signs and enter data into electronic charts.
• Assist Medical Director/Physician/Nurse Practitioner with patient intakes.
• Obtain blood specimens and urine samples for lab testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms and disinfect equipment and supplies.
• Perform receptionist and clerical duties and maintain records.
• Triage inquiries, manage phone and fax communications.
• File lab results and distribute to counselors.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
