Qualifikationen

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program is strongly preferred but not required.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant from a national certifying body is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Prior MA experience or externship is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Primary role is phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Perform rooming, vital signs, and intake data for patients.
• Assist providers during procedures and patient care activities.
• Administer medications under provider direction when appropriate.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and sterilize instruments.
• Register patients, schedule appointments, and handle telephonic inquiries.
