Job summary

Academic Medical Group Inc. is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support in the Seminole location. The role includes patient rooming, assisting with procedures, and ensuring proper specimen handling and equipment cleanliness.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, CMA/RMA/MA-ARMA certification, Basic Life Support, and at least 3 months of healthcare experience. On-site duties and routine patient interactions are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and basic clinical procedures.
• Blood draw for laboratory testing with proper specimen handling.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems for patient information management.
• Clinical tasks including patient rooming and cleaning/maintenance of equipment.
• Ability to perform clerical duties such as answering phones, greeting patients, filing, faxing and scanning.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and clerical support under supervision.
• Assist with medical procedures and prepare for patient visits.
• Room patients and ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR.
