Academic Medical Group Inc. in Tampa Palms seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to provide clinical and clerical support in a fast-paced practice. You will room patients, assist with procedures, and prepare charts, while ensuring accurate documentation in the EHR system.

The role requires basic clinical knowledge, phlebotomy skills, and strong clerical abilities, including patient communication and scanning documents. On-site, full-time schedule with weekdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clinical Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant or MA-ARMA is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required.

Responsabilités

• Room patients and assist with basic clinical procedures.
• Support clinical and clerical tasks including chart prep, referral notes, and obtaining lab results.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining medical equipment.
• Enter and retrieve patient information in EHR accurately.
