Bookmark Medical in Newton, MA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our clinic-based team on a full-time basis. The role supports providers during exams, takes vitals, updates medical histories, and maintains accurate documentation in the EHR to ensure seamless patient care.

You will welcome and room patients with warmth, assist with point-of-care testing and vaccines under supervision, manage scheduling, and coordinate referrals and prior authorizations.

Qualifications

• Accredited MA training or equivalent experience.
• MA certification.
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working in a fast paced, patient centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients with warmth and professionalism.
• Take vitals, update medical histories, and support providers during exams.
• Perform point of care testing and administer vaccines under supervision.
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
• Support patient education, follow ups, and clear communication.
• Help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow all safety guidelines.
