Job summary

Bookmark Medical in Newton, MA seeks a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time, clinic-based role. You will welcome patients, take vitals, support providers, perform point-of-care testing and vaccines under supervision, and maintain accurate EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Accredited MA training or equivalent experience.
• MA certification, 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working in a fast paced, patient centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients with warmth and professionalism
• Take vitals, update medical histories, and support providers during exams
• Perform point of care testing and administer vaccines under supervision
• Keep accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
• Support patient education, follow ups, and clear communication
• Help manage calls, referrals, prior authorizations, and scheduling
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and follow all safety guidelines
