Tufts Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to support outpatient clinical operations at Merrimack Valley Internal Medicine in North Chelmsford, MA. The role emphasizes efficient patient flow, patient prep, vitals, specimen collection, and collaboration with licensed personnel to assist procedures and ensure a positive patient experience.

The candidate will perform clerical and clinical duties, maintain records, and assist with immunizations as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant National Certification Attestation issued by a governing body (AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification OR obtain within three months.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Controls and monitors patient flow to maximize efficient use of providers and exam rooms.
• Prepares medical records for patient visits and verifies accuracy with patient data.
• Provides high level customer service in all patient interactions.
• Maintains safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and families.
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares for provider visits, ensuring privacy and safety.
• Performs vital signs, reviews medications, and assists with procedures as needed.
