Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant national certification attestation (AAMA/AMCA/AMT/NCCT/NHA) is required.
• BLS certification (or able to obtain within 3 months) is required.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience is required.
• Preferred: three years of Medical Assistant experience; bilingual; experience with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Maximize patient flow and efficiency in outpatient settings.
• Prepare medical records for visits and verify patient information.
• Assist clinicians with exams and procedures.
• Perform vital signs and collect specimens as directed.
• Support administrative tasks including scheduling and referrals.
