Job summary

Health First is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to provide comprehensive patient care during office visits. Responsibilities include point-of-care testing, medication administration, and ensuring smooth patient flow under supervision of licensed practitioners.

The role requires a CMA or RMA, BLS, and a strong emphasis on patient-centered care and teamwork within the Health First Medical Group network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Diploma in Medical Assisting preferred.
• CMA or RMA certification from AAMA/AMT/NHA/NCCT/ARMA/NAHP/AMCA required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and performs point of care testing (urine dipstick, glucose).
• Administers medications per provider orders using the 6 Rights of Medication Administration.
• Tracks and communicates test results to patients and providers.
• Assists with stocking, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintains patient flow and supports multiple providers during visits.
