Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days as required by AHA.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider and clinical staff with obtaining vital information and preparing patient for examination and minor procedures.
• Measure vitals, document in chart, and collect specimens as directed.
• Schedule referrals and complete CPT/ICD-10 coding for labs and referrals.
• Provide patient education and guidance, answer questions and teach as directed by the provider.
• Maintain CLIA, OSHA, safety, HIPAA, and compliance requirements.
