Job summary

The Certified Medical Assistant is a key component of our team that works closely with the primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care, ensuring services are provided within the Medical Assisting scope and state guidelines. The CMA reviews and updates health records, measures vital signs, and prepares treatment rooms for upcoming examinations.

The CMA role emphasizes patient service, accurate chart reviews, and seamless clinic operations, with licensure requirements and experience

Qualifications

• One year of medical assistant healthcare experience preferred.
• Active Medical Assisting certification or MA credential required/preferred.
• Ability to review and update health records and measure vitals accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting patients respectfully.
• Prepares and reviews patient charts for visits and verifies test results.
• Measures vital signs including pulse, respiration, BP, weight and height.
• Performs clerical duties: inventory, referrals tracking, phones as needed.
• Troubleshoots problems promptly and supports clinical operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
