Job summary

Qualifications

• Clinical knowledge relevant to patient care.
• Proficiency using computers, software and web-based applications.

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the patient and provider throughout the patient visit.
• Prepares the patient and provider for the visit.
• Answers patient questions prior to departure; readies the exam room for the next appointment.
• Delivers excellent patient service through phone and in-person communication.
• Completes documentation including patient registration if needed.
• Maintains clinical knowledge and credentials through ongoing development.
• Complies with DOT workplace drug and alcohol testing (if in occupational health).
• Adapts interactions to patient population with privacy and appropriate communication style.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to company policies and standards.
