Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for the Tiffin Medical Office Building to support the primary care physician and deliver quality patient care in accordance with state guidelines. You will review health records, measure vitals, and prepare treatment rooms for examinations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Active Medical Assisting certification from CMA/RMA/CCMA/NHA/NCMA/NCCT required.
If MA certification not available, ABR-OE acceptable (not in SC).
BLS Basic Life Support required in some locations.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
Review and update patient charts for upcoming visits.
Measure vital signs (pulse, respiration, BP, weight, height).
Perform clerical duties: inventory, referrals, answer phones.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems promptly; assist as needed.
