Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with certification.
• Professional medical terminology knowledge.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient vital signs and updates charts.
• Administers treatments, dressings, medications under provider orders.
• Chaperones and assists providers during procedures.
• Front desk duties: greeting patients, scheduling, basic ICD/CPT input.
• Coordinates with home health, hospice, DME and other partners as directed.
• Performs well-visit components and complete documentation before patient visits.
