Vail Health Hospital in Colorado is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and clinical teams with patient care and administrative duties. The role includes handling patient phone calls, managing messages in the patient portal and EHR, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualified candidates will hold CMA/AMT/CCMA certifications (AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA) and may have Colorado licenses. Two years of relevant experience is preferred, with PRN shift availability and benefits including

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care processes.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers and clinical teams with patient care and admin tasks.
• Field patient calls and voicemails promptly and professionally.
• Manage patient portal and EHR messages within established timeframes.
• Ensure accuracy and documentation in the patient's chart.
• Communicate with clinical care team as needed.
