Vail Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and clinical teams with patient care, maintain patient records, and complete administrative duties that keep patient flow smooth and accurate.

You will field patient calls and voicemails, respond to portal and EHR messages within established timelines, ensure proper documentation, and communicate with the care team as needed. Required certifications include CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, MAC, and Colorado licenses.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with patient care and administrative duties preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA rules and regulations required.
• Familiarity with EHR and patient portal workflows.
• Ability to document accurately in electronic health records.

Responsabilités

• Assist providers and clinical teams with patient care and administrative tasks.
• Field patient phone calls and voicemails promptly and professionally.
• Address patient portal and EHR messages within established timelines.
• Ensure accuracy and proper documentation in the patient’s electronic health record.
• Communicate with the clinical care team as needed.
