Job summary

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support licensed providers within a busy clinic setting. You will perform basic patient assessments, assist in care for adults and geriatric patients, and help with administrative tasks as needed.

The role includes phlebotomy, basic lab work, EKG support, and participation in health fairs. A high school diploma and CMA/CPR credentials are required, with 6–12 months of health-related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CMA certification and CPR required.
• Phlebotomy and basic lab procedures proficiency required.
• Experience in health-related field preferred, 6 months to 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessment, including vital signs.
• Assist with adult and geriatric patient care; infants/adolescents occasionally.
• Conduct phlebotomy and basic laboratory procedures.
• Monitor supplies under supervision.
• Assist with EKG procedures and other clinical tasks.
• Participate in health fairs and community events (3-4 times/year).
