Job summary

Pandya Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Providers in delivering high-quality patient care. You will handle clinical and administrative tasks, document vitals, and help maintain a safe, organized clinic environment.

Applicants should have an accredited MA program, current CMA/RMA certification, BLS, and at least one year of clinical experience. EMR proficiency and strong communication are essential in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required per state regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vital signs in the medical record.
• Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and ensure proper sterilization procedures.
• Triage and route messages from patients and front office staff to Providers.
• Review and file reports, lab results, and documentation in the patient record.
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the Provider.
• Manage incoming calls and accurate message taking within scope of practice.
• Comply with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
