Job summary

Pandya Medical Center in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to support clinical and front-desk operations. The CMA will take vitals, prepare patients for exams, assist physicians, and perform basic lab tasks.

The role requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, at least two years of experience, and familiarity with EHR systems; CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum 2 years of medical office experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens.
• Perform EKGs and other diagnostic tests.
• Document patient information in electronic health records (EHR).
• Maintain infection control and sterilize equipment.
• Keep exam rooms stocked and logs up to date.
• Triage messages from patients and front desk staff.
