Pandya Medical Center in Duluth, GA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Providers in delivering high‑quality patient care by performing clinical and administrative duties under supervision. The role ensures efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and a well‑maintained clinical environment, including vital signs, intake interviews, and coordination of lab results in the EMR.

Qualificações

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification required per state regulations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a medical practice.

Responsabilidades

• Perform clinical procedures under supervision of the Provider.
• Assist Providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, conduct patient intake interviews, and accurately measure and document vital signs.
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the Provider.
• Review and file reports, laboratory results, and documentation in the patient’s record.
• Maintain exam rooms by stocking supplies, preparing instruments, and ensuring sterilization procedures.
• Manage incoming calls by taking messages and routing to appropriate parties.
• Triage and route messages from patients to Providers promptly.
• Maintain clinical logs and perform routine safety checks (e.g., refrigerator logs, medication checks).
• Comply with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Clinical Lead/Office Manager.
