East Georgia Medical & Surgical Associates is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide patient care under supervision. The role supports clinical and administrative tasks, including assisting with procedures, maintaining exam rooms, handling patient intake, and ensuring efficient clinic operations while delivering excellent service.

The CMA will work with providers, manage room readiness, and support billing and referrals as part of a busy outpatient practice in Georgia.

Formación

• 0–1 year of experience in a medical practice setting or completion of externship program required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or NCMA certification required.
• Basic life support (BLS) certification required

Responsabilidades

• Assists providers with clinical procedures including taking vitals, wound care, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, urine tests, EKGs and splints.
• Prepare and clean exam rooms for patient visits and procedures.
• Handle patient intake, report test results, triage calls, and document medical information as directed.
• Manage patient scheduling, referrals, insurance verification, and clinic communications.
• Maintain organized workload and deliver prompt, courteous service to patients and staff.
• Monitor and requisition supplies to keep inventory at appropriate levels.
• Educate patients on medications, diets, and health topics.
