Formación

• Certifications listed: RMA (AMT), CCMA (NHA), BLS (AHA), NCCT CMA, CMA (AAMA).
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist provider and clinical staff with obtaining basic vital information and preparing patient for examination or minor procedures.
• Record vital signs and complete documentation in the EMR per clinical protocol.
• May draw blood and prepare specimens for labs as directed.
• Carry out clinical orders, including administration of medications or vaccines as scope permits.
• Schedule referrals and complete forms or CPT/ICD-10 coding for labs/referrals.
• Provide patient education and answer questions.
